Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cluster Head Financial Services to lead and manage a cluster of branches/locations, driving business growth, customer acquisition, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the assigned region or cluster, ensuring that financial products (insurance, mutual funds, wealth management) are effectively marketed and delivered to customers. The Cluster Head will oversee sales teams, manage customer relationships, and develop strategies to meet financial targets while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of branch heads, sales managers, and other staff members within the assigned cluster. Set clear targets for team performance and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to enhance team productivity and morale. Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability. Business Growth and Sales Performance: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth within the cluster, with a focus on financial products like insurance, mutual funds, and wealth management solutions. Ensure the achievement of sales targets, KPIs, and profitability for each branch in the cluster. Develop action plans to address gaps in sales performance and ensure that business goals are consistently met or exceeded. Client Relationship and Retention: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality, resolving issues promptly, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling or upselling financial products. Lead efforts to expand the customer base by identifying new business opportunities and markets. Strategic Planning and Execution: Formulate and execute business strategies for the cluster in alignment with regional and corporate objectives. Conduct regular business reviews to track progress against targets and adjust strategies where necessary. Identify market trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth, and adapt business plans accordingly. Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth operations across all branches within the cluster, including adherence to operational guidelines, compliance standards, and risk management protocols. Monitor day-to-day activities and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce operational risks. Oversee the proper implementation of company policies and procedures at the cluster level. Training and Development: Identify training needs for the sales and operational teams and ensure they are addressed through appropriate learning and development programs. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the cluster. Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure that all sales, operations, and business activities within the cluster are compliant with industry regulations and company policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations. Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular performance reports to senior management on sales, customer acquisition, retention, and operational effectiveness. Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational performance to derive insights for further growth. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in financial services, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role (managing sales teams, operations, and multiple locations). Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and managing large teams. Strong experience in financial products such as insurance, mutual funds, wealth management, and related services. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of financial products and services. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret business metrics and performance data. Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or other advanced qualifications preferred). Professional certifications in financial services (e.g., IRDA for insurance, NISM for mutual funds) are a plus. Desired Traits High level of motivation and results-oriented.
