- Job Title: Product Design Executive Reporting: NPD Head (New Product Development) Location: Hybrid (Also, should be open to travel as & when required within Delhi/NCR) Nurturing Green (a brand recently featured on Shark Tank India-Season 4) is a dynamic and forward-thinking Home Gardening company with a strong commitment to innovation & sustainability. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Design Executive to join our New Product Development team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and contribute to the product development lifecycle, assisting in research, design execution, vendor coordination, and sourcing. Key Responsibilities: Product Research & Ideation Assist in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities. Support in conceptualising and assisting with design execution for new products that align with Nurturing Green's brand ethos and sustainability goals. Work with the Senior NPD Executive to gather insights on customer preferences and emerging trends in home gardening, home decor, and eco-friendly products. Design & Mood Board Assistance Assist in creating mood boards and design presentations to communicate product themes and aesthetics. Support in curating inspiration from nature, sustainability trends, and global design influences. Sourcing & Vendor Coordination Support vendor identification & material sourcing, ensuring alignment with sustainability and quality standards. Assist in coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to track sample development and ensure timely production. Help negotiate costs, timelines, and material selections under the guidance of the Senior NPD Executive. Product Development & Execution Assist in the prototype & sample creation process, ensuring compliance with functional, aesthetic, and quality benchmarks. Work with vendors to troubleshoot production challenges and refine product specifications. Maintain product timelines and follow up on development progress. Documentation & Internal Reporting Prepare product briefs, specifications, and documentation for internal teams. Maintain and update product catalogs, databases, and reports on ongoing developments. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Textile Design, Interior Design, or related field preferably from institutions like Pearl Academy, NIFT, Amity or similar esteemed colleges 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in product development, merchandising, or design execution in home furnishing, decor, or related industries, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design and creative capabilities (internship experience is acceptable) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD, or 3D modeling software (preferred) Good communication & coordination skills to work with vendors and cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Passion for sustainability and eco-friendly product development, with basic knowledge of materials and production processes.,
