Key Responsibilities : Set up machines, tools, and equipment for new product trials and production runs. Conduct first-off inspections and adjustments to ensure products meet specifications. Work with engineers to refine processes for improved quality and efficiency. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving setup-related issues. Identify and implement improvements to reduce cycle times, waste, and defects. Adjust machine parameters and tooling to achieve optimal performance. Ensure smooth handover of new products to production teams. Quality & Compliance: Conduct quality checks during setup and initial production runs. Ensure all setup procedures comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Maintain detailed records of setup parameters, issues, and resolutions. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with NPD engineers, production teams, and quality assurance to ensure successful product launches. Provide feedback on design improvements and manufacturability. Report progress and issues to the NPD Manager and suggest corrective actions. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Diploma or technical certification in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Work experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Hands-on experience with machine setup, tooling, and production processes. Skills & Competencies: Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC, injection molding, metal fabrication). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
