    Your opportunity New Relic seeks a manager for our global privacy program to focus on the latest privacy and data protection laws and regulations to ensure that New Relic adheres to the highest standards and industry best practices on a global basis. This is an ideal role for an individual who is willing to drive the implementation of privacy obligations and business partnership across multiple jurisdictions. We are looking for a highly motivated privacy professional who can handle ambiguity and change and manage multiple responsibilities and tasks in a fast-paced and high-energy environment. Ideal candidates will have solid privacy compliance experience and have documented success in working with multiple stakeholders. The position will report to our Global Privacy Counsel based in Ireland and will be part of a globally dispersed legal team within New Relic to support our privacy initiatives by monitoring developments and requirements under multiple privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and advising New Relic business owners on internal projects. What you'll do Providing privacy advice and guidance to multiple business areas, including marketing, sales, procurement and human resources in order to promote a strong culture of privacy within the organization. Providing support and advice on the handling of data subject requests. Supporting customer facing and internal teams on privacy matters such as new offerings, internal projects, and individual complaints. Acting as advocate for data protection and privacy internally by developing and leading privacy training and awareness sessions for colleagues. Assisting with the development of privacy policies and processes that align with legal requirements and industry best practices. Coordinating with the relevant teams to investigate and report on privacy incidents. Reviewing and advising on data privacy impact assessments for projects involving the processing of personal data. Coordinating and communicating with data protection authorities as required. This role requires Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant privacy experience. Have demonstrated expertise in data protection, privacy and security law with an in-depth understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and leading the implementation of same across an organization. Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to foster relationships and collaborate with internal and external clients. Excel when working both independently and collaboratively, and have a record of developing strong working relationships with a diverse client base. Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage many projects simultaneously. Enthusiasm for solving problems and adding value to the company. An International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) certification is desirable- e.g., CIPP/E. Fostering a diverse, welcoming and inclusive environment is important to us.
