Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled IT Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring network security, troubleshooting network issues, and optimizing system performance to support business operations effectively. Key Responsibilities Network Management: Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and other networking components. System Security: Monitor and secure network traffic, implement security protocols, and protect data from cyber threats. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network problems, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity. Server Administration: Manage servers, cloud infrastructure, and storage solutions. User Support: Provide technical assistance to employees, resolving connectivity issues and network-related concerns. Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and suggest upgrades to enhance efficiency and reliability. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies. Backup & Recovery: Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and vendors to implement new technologies and ensure seamless integration. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in network administration or a related IT role. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, etc.). Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless networks (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.). Proficiency in Windows/Linux Server administration. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and network security tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.,
