Job Description
- Key Accountabilities Operates within a team with a bias towards optimizing the team's effectiveness and productivity Collaborates with other team members Competent in manual software testing techniques and has basic understanding of QA processes. Fundamental understanding of defect tracking, as well as the creation and execution of test cases. Exhibits strong attention to detail, good communication skills, collaborates within the team and open to continuous learning Has a foundational understanding of Agile methodologies and possesses specific knowledge about the modules being tested Understanding of domain-specific terminology and processes. Learn about the continuous improvement initiative Actively participates in team meetings Builds respectful relationships within team Communicates needs and goals to lead Identifies and raises problems, risks Is able to follow and implement detailed direction on all work Receives feedback from teammates and demonstrates improvement Keeps team informed of progress of deliverables Takes responsibility for communicating obstacles to team Learns and follows QA process and best practices Proactively contributes to discussions in agile ceremonies, ensuring all perspectives are considered and fostering a collaborative environment. Raises concerns during daily stand-up meetings. Tests the features and bug fixes Learns more about the system Focusses on requirements and its implications on regression testing Skills, Qualifications & Experience Essential: Experience: Experience in functional and integration testing or a related field. Must be within 2 to 4 years of experience. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail), and knowledge of HTML and CSS. Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint). Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Analytical Skills: Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others. Knowledge: Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.,
