Job Description
- Candidate must be Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering or other engineering branches Experience 11 to 15 years Experience for SAP ME and SAP MII must require. Customize and configure SAP ME solution according to business requirements. Develop business logic using SAP MII transactions. Conduct gap analysis between SAP ME and business-specific requirements. Experience with databases like SQL/ HANA and proficient in writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and SQL performance tuning. Experience with system integration concepts and technologies, such as API integration, web services, or messaging protocols (e.g. JSON, XML, SOAP). Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and SAP MES concepts. Oversee day-to-day operations in SAP MES. In-depth knowledge of the infrastructure components of the SAP ME application. Collaborate with SAP Basis team for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Develop custom extensions and interfaces in Java programming language (SAP ME SDK development) using NWDS to enhance SAP ME capabilities. (Good to have). Strong problem-solving abilities to identify, debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Proficient in English communication skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to stakeholders. Expected Job responsibilities You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining functionalities in SAP MES. You will be responsible for mentoring software engineers in Aurangabad division and work in close collaboration with software development team in Reinach. And you will be guided by Technical Team Lead in Reinach. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers as well as business process designer/project leader) in Reinach to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly SAP MES applications. Design and implement new functionalities by using relevant technologies such as SAP ME, SAP MII and Java. Analyse, coordinate, and resolve technical SAP MES infrastructure issues including server, database, and SAP-MES interface. Maintain detailed documentation of software architecture, codebase, data integration processes and APIs. 1/2 Create user manuals and technical documentation of software components developed in SAP MES. Implement security measures to protect SAP MES data, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Manage user access, permissions, and authentication in SAP ME/ MII. Ensure and enhance availability of SAP MES infrastructure. Collaborate with infrastructure team to plan and implement updates or patches.,
