Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Web developer located in Chennai. The Web developer will be responsible for back-end web development, front-end development, programming, web development, and web design tasks on a day-to-day basis. Key Responsibilities : Website Design & Development: Design and implement visually appealing and user-friendly websites based on project requirements. Develop responsive and adaptive websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to define website design and functionality requirements. Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet the needs of the project. Ensure websites are cross-browser compatible and optimized for mobile devices. WordPress Management: Develop, customize, and manage WordPress sites, including custom themes and plugins. Maintain and update WordPress websites, ensuring they are secure, fast, and up-to-date. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress themes, plugins, and other integrations. Implement SEO best practices on all WordPress sites to improve search engine rankings. Maintenance & Optimization: Perform regular updates and maintenance on existing websites to ensure long-term functionality. Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise on the website. Monitor website performance, security, and uptime, implementing measures to ensure maximum performance. Optimize web pages for faster load times, ensuring users have a seamless experience. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience as a web developer and designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work. WordPress Expertise: In-depth experience with WordPress theme development, plugin management, and troubleshooting. Design Skills: Strong visual design skills with a solid understanding of UI/UX principles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with JavaScript libraries like jQuery or React.js. Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Responsive Design: Expertise in developing mobile-friendly and responsive web designs. SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and experience with integrating SEO strategies into websites. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design and development. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Collaboration: Experience working in a team environment, coordinating with designers, marketers, and project managers.,
