Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive with expertise in carbon markets, climate finance, and clean energy financing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic partnerships, market opportunity identification, and delivering innovative solutions that align with our sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships to advance the companys position in carbon markets and climate finance. Market Analysis: Identify new market opportunities and trends in carbon markets, climate finance, and clean energy sectors. Project Management: Lead and manage renewable energy and carbon offset projects, ensuring they meet emission reduction targets and obtain necessary certifications. Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their sustainability goals. Sales & Negotiation: Drive sales initiatives, negotiate contracts, and close deals that align with our business and environmental objectives. Sustainability Consulting: Provide expert advice on carbon offsetting, climate finance, and sustainable practices, helping clients achieve their climate ambitions. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Qualifications: Education: MBA in Marketing Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on carbon markets, climate finance, or clean energy. Skills: Strong negotiation and sales skills. Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Excel modeling and sales management tools. Knowledge of sustainability management and carbon offsetting practices. Certifications: Relevant certifications in carbon markets, climate finance, or sustainability are a plus. Language: Full professional proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
