Job Description

External Job Description Purpose: The purpose of this role is technical offer of Cable accessories kits for cable specific and customer specific requirements in Cable Accessories Roles & Reponsibilities Analyze Tender and Customer Specifications: Review tender and customer specifications thoroughly and prepare a detailed technical offer. BOM Configuration: Configure Bills of Material according to customer specifications to ensure accuracy in product structure and components. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) for defining work definitions / Routing and calculating product costs within the system. Costing for New PCNs: Perform offline costing for new Product Code Numbers (PCNs) during the inquiry stage to support pricing decisions. Item Master Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the item master to ensure accuracy and completeness of product data. Technical Documentation Configuration: Prepare and configure technical documents such as GTP (Guaranteed Technical Parameters) and sales drawings for specifi inquiries. Technical Support for TSS Team: Assist the TSS team by providing technical insights to address customer queries. Customer-Specific Coordination: Work with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, SCM, and Quality teams to capture and communicate customer requirements, ensuring all functional areas respond before the technical offer is finalized. Legacy Error Identification and Correction: Identify and correct legacy errors in the item master and existing BOMs for data integrity. Product Specifications and RM Drawings Maintenance: Ensure updated and accurate product purchase specifications and raw material (RM) drawings. Error-Free BOM and Documentation: Aim for zero errors in BOMs and apply corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for any BOM or documentation issues. Adherence to Engineering Change Process: Ensure compliance with the Engineering Change Process for any modifications in the BOM or technical documentation.
