    Job Title: Lab Assistant Transformer Oil Testing Lab Location: Tanzania Company: Confidencial, KPM's Client Joining : Immediate About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to manage a state-of-the-art Transformer Oil Testing Lab for our esteemed client in Tanzania. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced diagnostic equipment and contribute to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical power sector assets. With infinite future growth prospects, this position is ideal for someone passionate about electrical testing and laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) to detect and diagnose faults in transformer oil. Perform Furan Analysis to assess the degradation of transformer insulation. Test Oil Acidity to monitor the chemical stability and performance of insulating oils. Operate and maintain the Karl Fischer Titrator for precise moisture content determination. Prepare oil samples, follow standard testing procedures, and document all results accurately. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab equipment. Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment. Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to interpret data and recommend actions. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in transformer oil testing or similar laboratory environments. Familiarity with DGA, Furan Analysis, Oil Acidity tests, and Karl Fischer testing methods. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and data recording accuracy.
