Good To Have Skills Proficient in : Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Jetpack libraries, OOPs, Reactive Programming. Have published at list one application on the Google Play store. Have CI/CD pipeline knowledge. Well versed in writing Unit testing(JUnit, Mockito etc.) Proven work experience in mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVP Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git/Bitbucket and Jira for project management. Familiarity with Android Material Design Other Skills Good with documentation & likes to upskill self Must have exposure in all the phases of SDLC (Requirement understanding, Development, Deployment & Support) Good agile understanding Worked on legacy code and reverse engineering Good with design patterns. Principal Accountabilities Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation Advocates Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications A knack for benchmarking and optimization Stays in touch with The TEAM via main preferred channels, i.e. Telegram, email and mobile. Demonstrates expertise and leadership in Android development. Deliver assigned task based on requirement specifications Ensure quality of code Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes; Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the library understanding of code versioning tools, sues available for common tasks Proficient as Git Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA Familiarity with continuous integration (ref:hirist.tech),
