Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Application Administrator to join our team. The Application Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of software applications used within the organization. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate with various departments to ensure optimal performance and functionality of applications. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain software applications. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues. Provide technical support and resolve application-related problems. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications. Perform regular updates and patches to applications. Maintain application documentation and user guides. Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support. Ensure data integrity and security within applications. Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures. Evaluate and recommend new application solutions to meet business needs. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing. Monitor application usage and generate performance reports. Assist in the development and implementation of application-related projects. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in application management. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in application administration or a similar role. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining software applications. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with database management and SQL. Knowledge of network and server administration. Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Certification in relevant technologies or applications is a plus.
