Position: Key Account Manager (KAM)Location: MumbaiSalary Range: 4.5 Lakhs to 9 Lakhs per annum (As per the experience)Preferred: 2+ Years of experience in Freight Forwarding Industry as Sales Manager, KAM and BDM. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with clients to drive retention and revenue growth. Regularly communicate with customers to understand their logistics challenges and offer tailored solutions. Business Development & Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell freight services, including air, ocean, and land transportation. Work closely with the sales team to acquire new strategic accounts and expand business with existing clients. Develop and execute account growth strategies, focusing on increasing profitability and market share. Operational Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments, such as operations, customer service, and customs clearance, to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor shipments, resolve issues proactively, and ensure timely communication with customers regarding logistics operations. Optimize freight forwarding processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs for clients. Market & Industry Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions affecting freight forwarding. Provide clients with insights on trade regulations, customs requirements and global supply chain disruptions. Work closely with pricing and procurement teams to offer competitive rates and services.,
