Experience: 12+ years Job Location: Bangalore (Work from Office) Role: Engineering Manager - Frontend Key Responsibilities (Must Have) Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of front-end engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and career development planning. Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making within the team. Technical Leadership: Provide architectural guidance and direction for front-end projects, ensuring scalable and maintainable code. Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment processes. Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and trends, integrating them into our development process where appropriate. Project Management: Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and improvements. Identify and mitigate risks related to front-end development. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs and services. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces. Partner with QA teams to ensure robust testing strategies are in place. Performance Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize the performance of web applications, focusing on speed, responsiveness, and user experience. Monitor and improve front-end application performance metrics. Recruitment & Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment process, including interviewing candidates and onboarding new hires. Build a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the companys values and goals. Stakeholder Management Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience 12+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Experience with version control systems like Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of front-end architecture, web performance optimization, and responsive design principles. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Skills (Must Have) Technical Skills: Deep understanding of JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks. Proficiency in CSS and preprocessors like SASS or LESS. Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services. Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress). Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Good To Have Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and/or static site generation (SSG). Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with WebAssembly, TypeScript, or GraphQL. Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online portfolio.,
