Manufacturing Engineer - Factory Simulation

• Experience in discrete manufacturing offline simulation and optimization of factory layout, productivity improvement, material flow improvement using FlexSim / Plant Simulation / AnyLogic / Arena / Simio any one software.
• Experience in Industrial engineering, Time study and line balancing
• Support factories to use simulation, optimization, and data analysis models as ongoing decision-making tools
• Build reliable simulation, optimization and data analysis models and animations.
• Provide recommendations to Unit management based on model results.
• Provide necessary coaching and training to factory engineers in using models, performing sensitivity analyses, and interpreting simulation results.
• Understand paradigm, assumptions, and limitations of minimum 2 tools in the area of Discrete Event Simulation, Optimization and Data Analysis Software Portfolio.
• Understand the problem/objective statements of the factory and translate those into logical Simulation, optimization Models

Must Skills

Microsoft Power Platform (To develop and build complex business solutions, analyze, and draw data visualizations, automate a business process etc.)

Data Visualization using tools like Power BI, Tableau

Microsoft Excel: advanced Excel skills like writing Macros and using VBA for process automation or quick analytics.
