- About The Job The role of Agriculture Program Manager Middle East and South East Asia In your role of agriculture program manager ME +SEA. You are making the connection between global agriculture programs and country plans that are focussing on the creation and execution of plans that encompasses on farm actions focussing reduction of GHG emissions, improvement of biodiversity, soil and water on farms and for crops. You work closely with the country farm relation ship teams. Besides you will support local teams with assessment of required resources, ( tools, systems, people and funding) ensuring project will be delivered according target. Deploy and Execute Agriculture roadmap for all ME +SEA countries Animate, track & support the deployment with local teams Agriculture Roadmaps per country. Together with local teams co-build update and precise the specific plans with each country Track and perform the delivery of the roadmap Align with different stakeholder to define clear objective and KPIs Danone Regenerative Agriculture commitments according the Danone Impact Journey Ensure programs on financial and CO2 consistency Set individual country targets, ensuring delivery. Integrate in sourcing strategy with local C&P milk directors reg ag roadmaps Identify strategy for upscaling Create business case clarity for implementation practices Create an European Reg Ag network for leveraging best practices Identify opportunities for external funding. Facilitate communication between marketing teams, project teams, farmers and cooperatives Work closely with global brand equity and sustainable development team to understand business needs for storytelling and communication Support the organization of farmer days SPOC for Agriculture development for Turkey, India, Indonesia, India, Thailand and other ME + SEA countries Set-up Reg.Ag programs with farmers for Milk and milk suppliers Define KPIs for measuring impact of Regenerative Agriculture Work out cost plans for agricultural practices Ie input cost, capex/opex, define benefits of practices Scale up programs with multiple farmers based on complete business cases Identify opportunities for co-funding Work together with ecosystem and / or local teams in the implementation of the local programs About You Motivated by Sustainability and making an impact in Agricultural Sustainability Have some experience within either Procurement Category Management or in the Farming and Agriculutral sector (a knowledge of the Dairy Ecosystem is ideal, but not required) You have experience of working and building relationships with a wide variety of people Good Mathematic and Analytical Skills, you can relate data and understand pricing models You can demonstrate an ambition and drive to excellence English Language Speaker About Us This role could be based in Indonesia, India or Egypt depending on the candidates location, we offer an attractive career with a Global Food company.
