Job Description
- The Scalers is a French-Indian company that helps businesses in Europe, the Middle East and the US expand their R&D operations to India. Our projects consist in setting up software development centres from scratch. From understanding our clients technical strategies to hiring their team, a great deal of planning and coordination goes into this process. Each project is led by a Project Manager and a Technical Coordinator who work alongside our clients management and internal teams. We are looking for a Technical Coordinator with good knowledge in technology and software, and a background in technical training or consulting. S/he should be an excellent communicator and a resourceful IT professional, leveraging his/her technical knowledge to help build world-class software development teams. Role and Responsibilities Preparing technical scripts across various technologies and building coding challenges and writing boilerplate code Understand the technical strategies of our clients (technologies, projects, resources, tools and development methodologies) Coordinate with Project Management to assist them in setting up software development teams Provide technical training for our teams and ensure adherence to high standards of coding and development best practices Conduct technical interviews with prospective candidates to determine their fit Build a strong network across the IT community in Bangalore by attending networking events, meetups and conferences Stay up to date on new technologies, languages, and frameworks Skills and Competencies 6+ years of experience in development along with mentoring and code reviewing A problem-solver with a high level of self-confidence Good understanding of programming and algorithmics Good written and spoken English communication Interview skills with the ability to screen for both technical and behavioral qualities Strong interest in the IT industry Excellent consultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization Stable and Growing The Scalers is a leader in its industry, with multiple offices across Europe and Asia.
