- Job Summary: The Assistant Manager Inside Sales is responsible for preparing and managing cost estimates for projects, products, or services. This role requires a deep understanding of cost estimation methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other expenses. Utilize estimation software and tools to generate accurate cost projections. Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements. Develop and maintain a database of cost information for reference in future estimates. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze historical data to improve the accuracy of future estimates. Maintain up-to-date records of costs and ensure data integrity. Analyze actual costs versus estimated costs and identify areas for improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with Pre-Sales, project managers, engineers, procurement, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for cost estimation. Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on cost-related matters. Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial plans. Reporting: Prepare and present cost estimation reports to management and stakeholders. Monitor actual project costs against estimates and report any variances. Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and improvements. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, pricing, and cost estimation methodologies. Implement best practices in cost estimation and project cost control. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of cost estimations. Qualifications: B.E Electronics or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in Tech Company dealing with Infra structure cabling & networking. CCTV installations,wi fi devices,fire alarm, access control automation of ports, weighbridges, Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in cost estimation or project management (e.g., AACE, PMP). Experience with specific industry-related estimation software. Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
