Job Description

Job Title: Hardware and Network Engineer - Minimum 2 Years Experience Responsibilities: Hardware Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and associated software. Perform routine hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and repairs. Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies. System Administration: Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and network-related issues. Manage server hardware, operating systems, and storage systems. Ensure regular backups of data and systems and test disaster recovery protocols. Network Management: Design, configure, and implement network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and VPN. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain and update firewall, router, switch, and access point configurations. Oversee network security protocols to safeguard systems against threats. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in hardware and network engineering or similar roles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in hardware diagnostics and repairs. Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), and equipment. Experience with network monitoring tools and software.
