Job Description
- Skills: Network Administration, Server Management, Troubleshooting, Security Management, Backup and Recovery, Scripting, Virtualization, Hardware Maintenance, Position Overview The Server and Systems Administrator Working closely with IT Manager, and is responsible for creating direction, planning, implementing, and managing servers and systems to facilitate and support the Organisation vision and strategic plan. Provide guidance and mentorship for the IT support team, while providing a high level of support and best practice knowledge to administrators and Support teams in accordance to the strategic direction, Organisation goals. The Server and Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring high levels of uptime and availability, and in addition, evaluates and advises on all technology components, such as software and hardware capabilities for server, systems and applications. Required Qualifications Any Graduate Degree or Diploma Preferred Qualifications Networking and Server qualifications or equivalent e.g.: CCNP, MCP, MCSE and MCITP Preferred Skills And Experience 3 or more years experience in IT field In depth understanding of technology systems in the enterprise Excellent experience using different Hypervisors, e.g., Hyper-V and VMware Extensive understanding collaboration tools, e.g. MS Office, Adobe, Video conferencing for Business Strong technology analytical and design skills Excellent business continuity and disaster recovery methodologies and practice Significant, Successful Experience In Project managing the implementation of enterprise technology server and systems Installing, configuring and maintaining of servers in the enterprise Managing Microsoft Active Directory and in the enterprise, including creating bulk user accounts, deleting and modifying user accounts, setting up e-mail, home directories Knowledge in Network ports and protocols. Installing public and local certificates on various systems Fortinet Firewall Management, WAN and Interface Configuration, Routing, VPN Tunnelling , Policy management. Managing Antivirus in an enterprise like Symantec, Seqrite Knowledge in Installing and configuring Microsoft SQL Knowledge in Installing and configuring DNS DNS, DHCP Management SAN, NAS Management Hardware and software troubleshooting - critically analyse a symptom, diagnose a fault, plan and take appropriate action on equipment including PCs, printers, servers, and networking etc Job Type: Full-time Salary: 15,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month Schedule Day and Night shift,
