Job Description
- Job Title: System Administrator Experience Required: 10+ years Position Summary: Seeking a highly experienced System Administrator with a strong background in virtualization, Linux system administration, network security, automation scripting, backup solutions, and particularly in Zabbix administration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and a proven ability to manage complex systems to ensure operational excellence. Expertise in patch management using Manage Engine Patch Manager, endpoint protection using TrendMicro ApexOne and Trend Micro Workload Security, and Cloudflare ZTNA as a Zero Trust Access platform administration is also required. Key Responsibilities: Architect, implement, and manage sophisticated virtualization solutions, with expertise in VMware and other open-source platforms. Administer, secure, and optimize Ubuntu and various Linux-based operating systems. Configure and manage network security frameworks, including proficiency with FortiGate, and implement endpoint protection using TrendMicro ApexOne and Trend Micro Workload Security as EDR solutions. Develop and maintain automation scripts, with a strong emphasis on Ansible, to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Design and execute robust backup strategies to ensure data redundancy and swift recovery in any data loss scenario. Proactively manage and monitor IT systems using Zabbix, ensuring high performance and quick issue resolution. Maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, providing advanced technical support and problem-solving. Implement and manage Cloudflare ZTNA for secure access to applications and environment without placing users on the corporate network. Execute patch management processes and procedures using Manage Engine Patch Manager, ensuring all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches. Guide and develop junior IT engineers, promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum B. Tech degree in Computer Science or ECE. Certification: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) , VMware certified Professional (VCP) , Fortinet (NSE4), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), ITIL Foundation Equal Opportunity Employer ,
