Job Description

    The Parts and Service Manager (After Sales) is responsible for overseeing the after-sales service operations, managing parts inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability in the service department. This role involves coordinating between service teams, customers, and suppliers to provide efficient and quality post-sale service and support. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service Management: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and effective after-sales service. Address customer concerns and complaints regarding parts and service with a focus on timely resolution. Conduct regular customer feedback surveys to gauge satisfaction and implement improvements. Parts Management: Oversee the inventory of parts to ensure availability for service needs, minimizing downtime. Work with suppliers and procurement teams to source quality parts at competitive prices. Implement efficient stock control processes and maintain accurate records of inventory levels. Develop strategies for optimizing stock, reducing excess inventory while preventing shortages. Service Operations: Lead the service team to deliver timely repairs, maintenance, and service upgrades. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as repair turnaround times, service quality, and profitability. Implement best practices to streamline service workflows and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover processes between sales and after-sales service. Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and develop the parts and service teams, ensuring that staff are knowledgeable and skilled. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to improve team effectiveness. Create a positive work environment that fosters collaboration and motivates staff to meet departmental goals. Financial Management: Develop and manage the budget for the parts and service department. Track financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability of the after-sales department. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on service quality or customer satisfaction. Drive initiatives to grow the after-sales revenue through additional services, warranties, and parts sales. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all service operations comply with industry regulations and company policies. Maintain safety standards in the service department, ensuring all personnel follow health and safety guidelines. Keep abreast of product recalls and service bulletins to proactively address potential issues. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on parts usage, service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Analyze trends and data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans. Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decisions. Qualifications and Skills: Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 7+ years of experience in a parts and service management role, preferably in the automotive or machinery industry. Strong knowledge of parts inventory management, service workflows, and customer service processes. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficient in using service management software, inventory control systems, and data analysis tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members. Ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.,
