Job Overview: We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented fresher graduates to join our requested news magazines/portals as news editors. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring journalists to start their careers in print media and gain valuable experience in news production. Responsibilities: Proofread and edit articles for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style consistency Fact-check information in news stories and features Rewrite or restructure articles to improve clarity and readability Write headlines, subheadings, and photo captions Ensure articles adhere to the newspaper's style guide and editorial policies Collaborate with reporters and senior editors to refine story angles and content Assist in page layout and design when needed Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mass Media or BA in Arts (Journalism, English, or related field) Fresh graduates with no prior work experience are encouraged to apply Strong command of the English language (additional languages are a plus) Excellent writing and editing skills Keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy Basic understanding of journalistic principles and news values Familiarity with current affairs and general knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of publishing software is a plus Required Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good teamwork and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and media trends Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Experience: total work: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person,
