REPORTING RELATIONSHIP POSITION REPORTS TO: MANAGER FINANCE/ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT: FINANCE CORPORATE ACCOUNTING POSITION LOCATION: VADODARA, GUJARAT, INDIA (On-Site) Budget: 10,00,000 - 13,00,000 POSITION SUMMARY Assistant Manager Finance/Accounting is responsible for supervising all the Accounts/Finance department Reconciliations, Fixed Assets & Prepaid Expenses/Amortization, Depreciation, Inter-Company Accounting, External Audit support, Financial Reporting, etc. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Train and supervise team members on all accounting processes mentioned above Attend periodic meetings and provide analytical support for management evaluation Prepare & improve monthly financial & operational management reports Interface with Oracle NetSuite, Import Utilities and check processing vendor-software to complete check Interface with multiple bank platforms to account for banking transactions Develop & publish reporting metrics of KPIs Prepare financial trends and variance analyses comparing current operating results with prior operating results for operational actions Train, develop and lead Accounting staff with the goal of maximizing the strengths of each team member to create an efficient, high functioning team Setting goals & objectives of team members and conducting performance evaluation Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team Understand and adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to security, trade secrets and confidentiality of all information PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Graduation (Bachelors) in Accounting; Masters degree and/or CA qualification will be an advantage. 8-10 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance, including 4-5 years supervisory experience preferably in BPO/KPO/ITES industry. 7-8 years experience in popular Accounting applications, such as Tally, QuickBooks Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite is strongly preferred Very strong computer skills in Window, Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet/Intranet Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability Strong attention to detail BEHAVORIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES Positive attitude and high on professional morale Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment Must be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptions Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision Team Player with a professional attitude Job involves supporting & coordinating with on-shore team based out of US offices, and hence requires flexibility to work in any shift and/or on Indian holidays as well.,
