Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled Mendix Lead/Architect to spearhead low-code development initiatives and contribute to the establishment or evolution of a Center of Excellence (COE) for Mendix applications. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and strategic vision to drive innovative solutions aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture : Lead the design and development of scalable Mendix applications while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. COE Development Contribute to building or enhancing a Mendix COE by developing best practices, governance models, reusable components, and training frameworks. Technical Leadership Provide mentorship to Mendix developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Integration Expertise Design and implement seamless integrations between Mendix applications and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or APIs. Collaboration Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical recommendations, and drive alignment between IT and business teams. Performance Optimization Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for better efficiency. Innovation & Strategy Keep abreast of Mendix platform updates and emerging trends in low-code development to influence strategic decisions. Documentation & Compliance Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure all solutions adhere to organizational compliance and security policies. Required Skills & Experience Proven expertise as a Mendix Architect/Lead Developer, with 6+ years in low-code platforms and Mendix. Experience in establishing or working within a COE framework for low-code applications. Proficiency in Mendix application design, deployment, and scaling for complex business use cases. Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and database systems. Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Mendix Advanced Developer or Expert Developer certification. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Background in microservices architecture and containerization. Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. (ref:hirist.tech),
