Business Head: Travel Insurance and Value-Added Services We are a well-funded start-up that straddles insurance, travel, and technology in the B2B space. We are backed by a well-established Private Equity firm, supported by one of Indias leading B2B travel businesses, and collaborate with some of the most reputed financial services and travel partners in India and abroad. We are looking for a Business head to join our founding team to drive our insurance distribution business. You will be responsible for launching travel insurance and ancillary travel products on our digital platforms and offline distribution network, support a large sales team, drive the business P&L and pretty much do everything to take your business line from scratch to scale. The ideal candidate would have a mix of digital as well as offline sales experience in the insurance/travel space. Some desirable qualifications: 5 to 10 years of stellar professional track record in a Bancassurance-type role (partnerships/sales) with a leading foreign or private sector bank or insurance company Experience in directly or indirectly managing a large national sales team whether in Bancassurance, travel, FMCG etc. Digital product management experience preferably in travel, insurance, or any leading product company in the B2B or B2C space. Some exposure to developing products and propositions with General, Life and/or Health Insurers A solid academic background, including an MBA An entrepreneurial attitude and strong work ethic The role is based in Mumbai (Western suburbs).
