Job Title: Procurement Product Manager
Location: Hyderabad (MDN Edify Education Pvt Ltd, Head Office)
About the Role:
MDN Edify Education Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and innovative Procurement Product Manager to drive the development and success of our e-commerce platform catering to schools, students, and educators. This role requires a blend of e-commerce expertise and knowledge of the educational sector to enhance customer experience and streamline procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development & Strategy:
Develop and execute strategies for the e-commerce platform, focusing on user engagement and digital transformation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Marketing, Sales) to ensure seamless platform functionality.
Procurement & Vendor Management:
Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers for educational products (e.g., books, software, school supplies).
Optimize procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency and timely product availability.
Customer Experience:
Enhance the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a smooth buying experience for schools, educators, and students.
Implement data-driven improvements to the platform based on customer feedback and analytics.
E-Commerce Operations:
Oversee online merchandising, payment gateways, logistics, and delivery systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for e-commerce platforms.
Market Research:
Stay updated on educational trends and procurement needs within the school and education sector.
Conduct competitor analysis to keep the platform competitive and innovative.
Sales & Purchase Order: To be collect sales and purchase order from schools and to have work on it with negotiations and to manage credit note with the vendor
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related fields (MBA preferred).
Experience:
4-8+ years of experience in product management, especially in e-commerce, retail, or education sectors.
Proven track record of managing online platforms with a focus on customer experience and operational excellence.
Familiarity with educational products and the procurement process is highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem (online merchandising, payment gateways, logistics, and customer service).
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Preferred:
Experience in the education industry, working with schools, educators, or students.
Knowledge of educational product markets and their unique procurement cycles.
