- Job description: Job Description About the teamBeing a Logistics manager you will be able to manage Material issuance, Packaging standard, Waste Management, Inventory Management. Your Tasks Material issuance Ensure smooth line feeding with Zero downtime considering internal customer requirement ,location management & FIFO. Packaging standard Ensure to have packaging standard in place for all the child parts to avoid any damages or adverse impacts. Waste Management Ensure daily verification of scrap received from production, Ensure respective legal compliances for handling of hazardous and Non-hazardous waste handling and disposals. Inventory Management Ensure inventory accuracy through following defined processes of FIFO, Barcode scanning. Also ensure Inventory accuracy up to 99% through Cycle count and timely adjustment with prior approval from Management. Continuous Improvements Continuously improve Warehouse operations using best practices. Focus on Improvement with Time Savings, Financial Savings etc. Your Profile Bachelors degree in any stream. Must have 10-15 Years of Experience in Logistics, specifically in Warehouse & Inventory. Knowledge of ERP system ( Microsoft NAV will be Added advantage) Well versed with Manpower management for smooth operation of Warehouse. Well Conversant with MS office, word, Power point and effectively communicate with cross functional teams.
