- Job description Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Assist in day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Monitor inventory levels and ensure the timely replenishment of ethnic menswear stock. Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience. Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales by promoting products and ensuring a positive customer experience. Address customer queries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism. Train and motivate staff to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional service. Team Management: Supervise and mentor sales staff, conducting regular performance evaluations. Create staff schedules and manage attendance to ensure adequate floor coverage. Support team members in achieving individual and collective goals. Reporting and Analysis: Analyze sales reports and identify trends to optimize store performance. Assist the Branch Manager in preparing financial and operational reports. Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to stay competitive. Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Job Specification (JS) for Assistant Branch Manager Retail (Ethnic Menswear) Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in retail, preferably in apparel or ethnic menswear. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred. Skills: Strong sales and customer service skills. Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office Suite. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
