- Job Title: System Administrator Location: Attibele, Bangalore Type: Full-time About Us: We are a leading glass processing company with facilities in Bangalore and Kerala for more than 20 years. Job description A system administrator's responsibilities include maintaining computer systems, networks, and servers. They also troubleshoot and provide technical support. System administration tasks Install and configure: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and operating systems Manage users and permissions: Create and manage user accounts, access rights, and storage allocations Monitor systems: Monitor systems for security breaches and risks, and perform routine audits Back up and recover: Perform server and information backups and recovery operations Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including hardware, software, and networking issues Provide support: Provide technical support to employees and respond to user issues Maintain networks: Maintain networks and network file systems, including LANs and WANs Manage security: Design, install, and upgrade data security systems, and enforce security best practices Other responsibilities Help build, test, and maintain new servers Support internet, intranet, and network segments Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting Perform daily system monitoring Apply patches and upgrades on a regular basis Perform daily backup and recovery Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and may also have certification courses Minimum 5 years of experience in the System Admin field. Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
