- Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled System Administrator responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring network security, and troubleshooting system issues. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux OS, Outlook configuration, network administration, and IT security. Key Responsibilities: 1. System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, including user account management and security updates. Handle Outlook and Microsoft 365 email configurations, troubleshooting sync issues, and maintaining email security policies. Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Linux/Windows) on desktops and servers. Monitor system performance, backups, and disaster recovery plans. 2. Network Administration: Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall systems. Ensure network uptime and troubleshoot network performance issues. Set up and manage routers, switches, and access points for optimal performance. Implement network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems. 3. IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L1/L2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot issues related to email configuration, Outlook synchronization, and server access. Assist in software deployment, updates, and IT asset management. 4. Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain IT security policies for email, network, and system access. Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments. Ensure compliance with company data security policies and best practices. 5. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed IT infrastructure documentation, including network diagrams and system configurations. Track and report IT incidents, resolutions, and performance metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-3 years of experience in IT system administration and network engineering. Proficiency in Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server administration. Experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Outlook (Microsoft 365, Exchange Server). Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs. Experience with firewall configuration (pfSense, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, etc.). Hands-on experience with IT security, backup, and recovery solutions. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
