About The Role This role is part of a rapidly expanding Product Management Team, a dynamic, successful and forward-thinking team that is dedicated to bespoke software development in the critical areas of risk and compliance. The Product team is integral to the continued expansion and growth of the My Compliance Office platform, and the Technical Product Owner is a very important member of the team. You will have exposure and experience creating both internal and Key Duties/Responsibilities Own the Backlog for a specific product or products. Champion the delivery of product functionality to support strategic roadmap. Responsible for analysis, gathering and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements from all areas of the business. Work with the Engineering team to document user stories that are deliverable within a 2-week sprint that have very clear and testable acceptance criteria that Developers/QA engineers can interpret and deliver. Work with the Design Team to help validate user stories that meet user expectations and deliver business outcomes. Support technical backlog grooming to enable task breakdown and estimation. To act as an interface between the business, design and engineering team in communicating & refining requirements. To own, drive & refine the detailed requirement-gathering process. Participate in the prototyping of new functionality. Will own & deliver all customer-facing software release-related documentation i.e. release notes etc. Essential Capabilities Should have at least 6 years" experience in product management or product owner role in large global, multinational organizations. Preferred working experience in delivering products based on technologies like JAVA, Data Driven Products, API, etc. Effective Communication Articulate in verbal and written forms. SaaS Experience Proven in product-driven SaaS environments. Proactive Problem-Solving Initiative-driven with strong ownership. Detail-oriented High precision in documentation and task execution. Independent And Collaborative Thrives autonomously and works well across teams. Technical Expertise Possess good functional and technical knowledge to interface with cross-functional partners. Skilled in wireframing, Data Modelling (ERDs), SQL, and APIs. Agile & Project Management Knowledgeable in agile methodologies and project management experience using JIRA and, Confluence or equivalents to manage requirement and backlogs. Analytical Skills Expert in writing requirements, validating features, and conducting high-level analysis. Client Insight Deep understanding of client and industry needs. Solution Design Collaborates with Architects/Tech Leads for solution design and challenges Product Managers for optimal solutions. Cross-functional Work Engages with Product Management, Engineering, and Solutions Architects to explore and implement solutions. Negotiation And Trade-Offs Negotiates product and process improvements; provides trade-offs aligning with product roadmaps and client needs. Strategic Contribution Supports product strategy and roadmap development. Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast paced and changing environment. Domain Expertise Working Knowledge in Capital Markets, Trade Surveillance, Anti-Money Laundering, or Data Analytics tools. Flexible schedule that can accommodate a geographically diverse team across multiple time zones and cultural backgrounds. Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus (ref:hirist.tech),
