DevOps Engineer

Job DescriptionSkill Set: AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Shell, CI/CD (Jenkins)
Responsibilities:

• Problems will range from but not limited to Kubernetes, dependencies with underlying AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expectation is to be able to troubleshoot all issues.
• Document all customer issues and their resolution steps in the knowledge base for future references.
• Ideal candidate has capability to independently solve problems using diverse resources.
• Develop a feedback loop with product and development teams based on the interactions with customers and from self-observations. That feedback loop should be used to get any enhancements/issues added to product backlog/roadmap to reduce support overhead or/and improving customer experience.

Eligibility:

• Strong DevOps experience.
• Prior hands on with Kubernetes (Helm Charts, pods)/ EKS and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, EKS). Openstack would be a huge advantage.
• Working experience with automation technologies like Ansible & Terraform is important.
• Hands on with Jenkins
• Experience with scripting languages Bash, Python, PowerShell
• Experience with Git/Github, Jenkins/Hudson and/or other build and continuous integration systems are highly desirable.
• Ability to build, create, version control and deploy software repositories
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
