Job Description Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, MySQL Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. Write reusable, testable, and efficient PHP code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in PHP development. Assist in database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting complex database issues. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning and estimation. Ensure application security, data protection, and best practices for handling sensitive information. Perform basic server-side administration tasks, including file management, directory structure setup, and deployment, primarily on Linux-based servers Required Skills & Qualifications 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHP development. Proficiency in PHP (preferably PHP 7.x or 8.x), with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts. Experience with MySQL or other relational databases (PostgreSQL, etc.), including complex queries, joins, and optimizations. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX). Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or similar) and server management is a plus. Strong understanding of web security practices (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection prevention). Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, Agile development environment.
