Job Description
- One of Esteemed's clients, a FinTech startup building a proprietary trading platform and tool suite, is looking for a Fractional CTO. This role is primarily based in India, and has the opportunity to flex with the candidates's preferred amount of bandwidth and schedule. It can also be a long-term contract, or convert to a direct hire. Current platform has no front end, so they want someone who can help decide and implement one. Back end is Python. Somebody who has startup experience, this is pre-seed and launching an MVP in the next few months. Ability and willingness to be hands-on, in development and DevOps, as well as strategic They are open to this being long-term or contract-to-hire as well for the right person Hours per week can flex with candidates desire. 20-40 hours a week is the goal Key Responsibilities Provide strategic direction for the product roadmap, focusing on innovation and user needs. Oversee the technical development team, ensuring efficient execution and high-quality code. Lead the development and implementation of new features, including data integration, strategy development tools, advanced analytics, and platform integrations. Champion best practices in security, scalability, and performance optimization. Collaborate with other C-suite executives (if applicable) and stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with business goals. Desired Skills And Experience Deep understanding of algorithmic trading concepts, backtesting methodologies, and quantitative analysis. Proven experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams. Expertise in relevant technologies like data management, machine learning, cloud computing, and low-latency execution systems. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
