Job Description
- Hiring: Assistant Manager (Engineering) Location: Ludhiana Salary: 50,000 CTC per month Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 6 to 8 Years (Mandatory) Key Responsibilities & Skills: Technical Drawing Interpretation Must be proficient in reading and analyzing engineering drawings and blueprints. Process Flow Development Create detailed flowcharts to define manufacturing processes based on technical drawings. 3D Modeling & Drafting Develop accurate 3D models for components and assemblies using CAD software. Machining Process Knowledge Strong understanding of CNC machining, lathe, milling, grinding, and fabrication processes. Process Documentation & Compliance Prepare and maintain detailed process sheets, work instructions, and SOPs to ensure quality control and efficiency. Production & Quality Coordination Work closely with the production and quality teams to streamline operations and improve process efficiency. Continuous Improvement Implement Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles to optimize workflows and reduce production costs. Supplier & Vendor Coordination Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for material selection and procurement. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving Identify and resolve manufacturing and engineering issues to enhance productivity. Additional Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment. Good communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
