Fleet Maintenance and Management:
- Oversee and manage all company vehicles, including trucks, cars, and other transportation equipment.
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and inspected regularly to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for fleet vehicles.

Fleet Procurement:
- Work closely with senior management to plan the acquisition and disposal of vehicles, ensuring that fleet size aligns with business needs.
- Research and identify cost-effective vehicle models that meet operational requirements.

Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Manage fleet budgets, including maintenance, fuel, repairs, and vehicle leasing or purchase.
- Track and analyze vehicle-related costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation, safety, and environmental laws.
- Monitor driver behavior, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement improvements as necessary.

Fleet Performance:
- Track vehicle performance metrics and report on fleet efficiency, usage, and safety.
- Develop reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet operations, providing updates to senior management.

Driver Management:
- Manage and oversee drivers, ensuring they receive proper training and certification.
- Implement and enforce safe driving practices to minimize accidents and reduce liability.

Vendor Management:
- Liaise with third-party service providers, including repair shops, fuel suppliers, and leasing companies.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure vendors meet operational requirements.
