Embedded Systems Engineer - IoT & AWS @ Kpr sugar apperals

Job Description

Embedded System Development: We are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to work on the integration of sensors with IoT nodes and gateways and enable seamless data transmission to AWS IoT Core. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in embedded programming, IoT protocols, and cloud integration. Key Responsibilities: Work with microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, NRF, TI, etc.) and embedded platforms to collect sensor data. Develop firmware for IoT devices using C/C++/MicroPython/FreeRTOS. Sensor & IoT Node Integration: Interface sensors (temperature, vibration, pressure, accelerometers, etc.) with IoT nodes. Optimize power consumption for battery-operated devices. Work with ADC/DAC, I2C, SPI, UART, Modbus, RS485 for sensor communication. IoT Gateway Development & Connectivity: Develop edge computing applications for Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, or custom IoT gateways. Implement communication protocols like MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, LoRa, BLE, Zigbee, Modbus, NB-IoT, LTE-M. Ensure secure communication with AWS IoT Core using TLS/SSL encryption. AWS IoT Core Integration: Develop device shadows, MQTT topics, and rules engine to process sensor data. Connect IoT devices to AWS services (AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Greengrass, etc.). Implement data logging, analytics, and monitoring dashboards. Testing, Debugging & Deployment: Debug hardware and firmware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers. Perform unit testing and field validation of IoT nodes and gateways. Document firmware, device configurations, and cloud interactions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems. Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, WebSockets). Hands-on with AWS IoT Core, Greengrass, Lambda, and cloud integration. Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and low-power design. Familiarity with wireless communication (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee, LTE-M, NB-IoT, etc.).
