- Job Title: Process Engineer Location: Head Office, Gurgaon Company: LR Energy Job Type: Full time About Us LR Energy is a leader in the renewable energy sector, focusing on sustainable solutions including Compressed Biogas (CBG), solar power, and water treatment projects. Our team is dedicated to providing innovative and environmentally friendly solutions across India. Job Overview The Process Engineer - WTP will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing processes related to STP, ETP, CETP etc. The role involves overseeing the entire process lifecycle, from design to implementation, and ensuring that all operations meet the required safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize treatment processes for waste water treatment plant, ensuring high efficiency and compliance with CPHEEO & IS codes. Prepare process flow diagrams, mass balance calculations, and P&IDs for new and existing projects. Preparation of costing sheets, tank size calculations etc. Conduct site visits and audits to assess process performance and implement necessary improvements. Collaborate with the project and operations teams for commissioning and troubleshooting of STP systems. Provide technical support and guidance to on-site engineers and technicians. Prepare detailed technical reports, including analysis of process performance and recommendations for improvements. Coordinate with external stakeholders including clients, contractors, and vendors to for technical approvals. Stay updated with the latest developments in sewage treatment technologies and integrate best practices into existing processes. Designing of calculations for pump sizing, pipe line sizings. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Engineering/ Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, specifically in the sewage treatment or wastewater treatment industry. Proficiency in process design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar tools. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of STP processes including, SBR, MBBR, MBR, etc. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements for wastewater treatment.
