What We Are Looking for: We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. A System Administrator is a professional who plays an integral role in maintaining organizational policies to ensure the integrity of their network and computer systems. Responsibilities: Should have 1 years+ of experience in a system admin role. Understanding of network protocols. Hands on configuring and managing Firewall rules and ACLs. Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications. Knowledge of configuring router/ Access points. Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly. Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise. Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary. Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely. Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system. Providing technical support when requested. Documenting any processes employees need to follow to successfully work within our computing system. Requirement: Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude Excellent communication skills BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus Interested candidates may share their resume at hidden_email Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Night shift Rotational shift Ability to commute/relocate: Mohali, Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: System administration: 1 year (Required) total work: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person,
