- First Line Support - Infrastructure Do you have a knack for solving technical issues and ensuring smooth IT operations Join us as a First Line Support - Infrastructure and be the go-to person for our tech needs! ABOUT THE ROLE: As a First Line Support - Infrastructure, you will be the first point of contact for our IT-related queries and issues. Your role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and security of our IT systems. What Youll Be Doing : Install and Configure Software and Hardware: Set up and maintain essential IT infrastructure. Manage Network Servers and Technology Tools: Ensure our network and tools are running smoothly. Set Up Accounts for New Users: Manage workstations and mobile devices for new employees. Monitor Performance: Keep an eye on system performance and maintain systems according to requirements. Troubleshoot Issues and Outages: Quickly resolve any IT issues to minimize downtime. Ensure Security: Implement access controls, backups, and firewalls to protect our data. Upgrade Systems: Keep our systems up to date with the latest releases and models. Develop Expertise: Train staff on new technologies and build an internal wiki with technical documentation. Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and technical support to employees. Manage System Permissions: Create and manage user accounts and system permissions. Maintain IT Inventory: Keep track of IT assets within the region. What Were Looking For : Experience: Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role. Technical Skills: Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management. Software Knowledge: Good understanding of TEAMs, Office365, and Autopilot. Security Awareness: Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery. Versatility: Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms. Problem-Solving: Resourcefulness and a strong problem-solving aptitude. Communication: Excellent communication skills. Experience: 2+ years experience in system administration. Education: Associate or higher degree in a related field. Availability: Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis.
