As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to lead and shape our communication efforts, driving brand visibility and engagement across various platforms. Position Overview: The Chief Communications Officer (CCO) APAC will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's communications strategy, both internal and external. This is a key leadership role that involves managing brand reputation, corporate communications, media relations, crisis management, and digital engagement. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring that communication efforts align with the companys mission, values, and business goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Communication Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that enhances brand equity, supports business objectives, and drives customer engagement. Lead corporate communications initiatives, ensuring alignment with the companys long-term vision. Brand Management & Positioning: Oversee all brand communication efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging across all consumer touchpoints. Work closely with marketing teams to maintain and strengthen brand positioning in competitive markets. Media Relations & Public Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry thought leaders. Lead efforts to secure positive media coverage and manage any potential crises with proactive communication strategies. Digital and Social Media Strategy: Develop and manage the companys digital communication strategy, including social media, website content, and online reputation management. Ensure the brand's voice is consistent across all digital platforms, maximizing engagement and audience growth. Crisis Communication & Reputation Management: Develop and execute crisis communication plans to protect the companys reputation during challenging situations. Act as a spokesperson during crisis events, guiding the leadership team on communication responses. Internal Communications: Lead internal communication initiatives that drive employee engagement, organizational alignment, and a positive company culture. Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to ensure transparent and effective communication within the organization. Executive Communication: Work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop executive-level communications, including speeches, presentations, and media engagements. Provide media training and support for senior leadership to ensure effective communication in public forums. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop communication strategies that engage key stakeholders, including consumers, partners, shareholders, and regulators. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public forums as required. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing communications team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment. Oversee the departments budget and ensure resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Masters degree preferred. 12+ years of experience in communications leadership roles, ideally within the consumer goods or retail sector. Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and reputation. Strong media relations experience, with an established network of media contacts in India and internationally. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or regional languages is a plus. Experience managing crisis communications and navigating complex public relations challenges. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team. Experience in digital communication, social media strategy, and content creation is highly desirable.,
