Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Co-Founder & Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at Journey Junction, located in Delhi. The role involves overseeing business development efforts, formulating growth strategies, create a high-performing sales funnel, managing sales and marketing initiatives, conducting research, and fostering communication within the company. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the companys vision, driving its growth, and overseeing all aspects of business development and sales strategy. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a passion for travel and a strong background in sales and business development. Key Responsibilities Business Strategy & Growth: As a co-founder, youll be integral in defining the companys overall strategy, vision, and growth. Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to expand Journey Junctions reach and drive revenue. Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team and drive revenue through client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic partnerships. Foster an environment of success and continuous improvement within the sales function. Market Expansion: Identify new markets, customer segments, and partnership opportunities to scale the business. Take charge of market research and competitive analysis to ensure Journey Junction stays ahead of trends in the travel industry. Client Engagement & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to engage clients, build long-lasting relationships, and create personalized travel solutions that exceed expectations. Brand Building & Partnerships: Work closely with the marketing team to establish Journey Junctions brand as a leader in the travel space. Build strategic relationships with key industry players, influencers, and organizations to grow brand awareness and sales. Leadership & Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across sales, marketing, and operations. Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture aligned with the companys goals. Requirements Proven experience in sales, business development, or executive leadership, ideally in the travel or tourism sector. Entrepreneurial mindset with a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of building a startup. Strong track record of successfully scaling businesses, generating revenue, and achieving targets. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience in strategic planning, client relationship management, and partnership development. Strong business acumen and the ability to think creatively and strategically. Ability to work collaboratively as part of an entrepreneurial team. Preferred Skills: Experience in a co-founder or leadership role within a startup. Extensive network within the travel industry. Knowledge of fundraising and securing investment for startups. Experience with digital marketing and e-commerce strategies to drive growth.
