Job Description
- Role & responsibilities Develop deep understanding of data processing from ERP and CRM Systems. Work with departmental managers to determine needs and apply / customize existing technology to meet those needs. Support the migration of existing reports to Power BI Report Server efforts by identifying or building the proper and necessary ETL and data structures needed. Build and Implement robust data models (Staging, Data Warehouse, Cube) to support reporting needs. Works closely with data owners and VP of Technology to drive requirements to completion. Works closely with report writers and developers to optimize Power BI reports and dashboards or other reporting solutions. Evaluate requirements and processes to provide possible solutions and accurate estimates for development efforts. Assist with building Data Analytics enterprise models using Microsoft and Jetglobal technologies including Stored Procedures, Power BI and Jet Admin. Learn and Support existing ETLs for data integrations between systems, and design/build/deploy new or updated ETLs for various integrations. Support the data and platform security and management of production systems and reporting platforms (SSRS, Powerbi, Jet Reports, ERP and CRM or other systems) In-depth understanding of SQL database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework with a preference for using JetGlobal. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across teams concisely and effectively KEY REQUIREMENTS AND ATTRIBUTES: Bachelors in CS,MIS, or related; Prefer Bachelors in Data Science/Analytics 5+ years of full SDLC lifecycle BI Experience. 3+ years working with ERP/CRM Data Models; Prefer Microsoft GP Dynamics and Salesforce (Sales/Service) Must have in depth knowledge of Power BI, stored procedures, SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and proven ability to quickly learn new reporting tools. Proven ability to operate independently and produce results,
