Devops Engineer - MSys Technologies - Quick

Job Description

Skill Set: Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevOps, Python, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible/Terraform

Responsibilities:

• Problems will range from but not limited to Kubernetes, dependencies with underlying AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expectation is to be able to troubleshoot all issues.
• Document all customer issues and their resolution steps in the knowledge base for future references.
• Ideal candidate has capability to independently solve problems using diverse resources.
• Develop a feedback loop with product and development teams based on the interactions with customers and from self-observations. That feedback loop should be used to get any enhancements/issues added to product backlog/roadmap to reduce support overhead or/and improving customer experience.

Eligibility:

• Strong platform / infrastructure automation expertise or DevOps experience.
• Prior Hands on with Python scripting/ Automation
• Experience in Cloud Platforms Azure/AWS/GCP, Cloudstack, Openstack would be a huge advantage.
• Working with automation technologies (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform) is highly desirable.
• Experience with Git/Github, Gerrit/ReviewBoard/Phabricator, Jenkins/Hudson and/or other build and continuous integration systems are highly desirable.
• Experience with scripting languages Bash, Python, Ruby, Powershell.
• Ability to build, create, version control and deploy software repositories
• Experience in proposal writing, presales, architecture, designing code is a must.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
