Job Description
We are seeking a Delivery Head for Rail Engineering Projects.
Job Profile:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects across the country.
Ensure that project delivery is aligned with business objectives and client needs.
Manage and mentor project managers and cross-functional teams.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the delivery team.
Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and stakeholders.
Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring the optimal use of human and technical resources.
Identify skills gaps and support training and development initiatives.
Implement best practices in project management and delivery processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Conduct regular reviews of project outcomes and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Identify potential risks in project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and project governance.
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure project performance and team productivity.
Regularly report on project delivery status, challenges, and successes to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in related field
Proven experience (10+ years) in project management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
Hands-on experience with P-Way/ Civil or Road Construction Projects
Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
