We are in the early stages of our journey and looking for a technology leader to help us kickstart this vision on a contract or consulting basis. Job Overview: We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on a consulting or contract basis to guide us through the initial phase of building our AI-based customer support platform. This role is ideal for a technology leader with a passion for AI, machine learning, and innovative tech solutions, who can commit to helping us define our tech strategy, build a scalable architecture, and set the foundation for our platform's success. Key Responsibilities: Technology Strategy: Develop the technology roadmap for building our AI-driven customer support platform, focusing on scalable architecture and innovative AI solutions. AI and ML Implementation: Lead the development and integration of AI models for Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning, and automation, ensuring a competitive edge over existing solutions. Product Development Guidance: Provide technical guidance on the design, development, and deployment of the platforms core features, including AI chatbots, automated ticketing, and analytics. Team Setup: Assist in setting up the initial tech team, identifying key roles, and creating a plan for scaling the team as the platform grows. Hands-on Leadership: Engage in hands-on development when necessary, guiding engineers and data scientists to ensure that the platform is built to the highest standards. Integration Strategy: Lead the strategy for API development and third-party integrations with CRMs, communication tools, and other software platforms. Data Security and Compliance: Ensure that the platform follows best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards. Transition to Full-Time Role: Option to transition into a full-time CTO role as Remote Growthlab grows, with equity or other incentives to reward long-term commitment. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development, with significant exposure to AI, machine learning, or SaaS-based solutions. Previous startup or consulting experience is a plus. Technical Expertise: Strong background in AI and machine learning with experience in NLP technologies, frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure). Startup Mindset: Ability to work in a lean environment, make impactful decisions with limited resources, and adapt to the fast-paced needs of a startup. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in guiding and mentoring small tech teams, with a focus on developing innovative solutions under tight timelines. Contract Flexibility: Open to working on a contract or consulting basis, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time leadership role as the company grows. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for the team. Location: Based in Bangalore or Kochi, India, with the flexibility to work remotely when needed. Preferred Skills: AI in Customer Support: Experience or strong interest in building AI-powered solutions specifically for customer service, helpdesk, or conversational AI. SaaS Product Development: Familiarity with SaaS architecture and best practices for developing scalable, cloud-based platforms. Multi-Language NLP: Understanding of multilingual Natural Language Processing and AI-driven translation solutions. Agile Development: Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management to drive fast-paced product development.
