- 7 - 9 Years 1 Opening Trivandrum Role description Location:- Trivandrum Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in server-side software development to drive key projects and lead a talented team of developers. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions. Must-Have Skills: Server-Side Software Development: 9+ years of professional experience in server-side software development with a proven track record in a lead role. Programming Languages: Deep expertise in at least one of the following languages: Java v11+ Kotlin JavaScript/TypeScript C# API & Microservices: Extensive experience with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. Databases: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with: SQL/RDB (MS) and NoSQL databases Performance tuning and optimization of databases Event-Driven Architecture: Strong experience with event-driven architecture, including Kafka and message queues. Containerization & Orchestration: Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Infrastructure-as-Code: Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools. Framework Expertise: Expertise in at least one of the following frameworks: Spring Micronaut Node.js .NET Cloud/Serverless Technologies: Expertise in cloud computing and serverless technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.). Testing Methodologies: Deep understanding of and experience in testing methodologies and frameworks, including: Playwright Jest Test frameworks Good-to-Have Skills: Cloud Certification: Certification in any major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure). Advanced Messaging Tools: Experience with advanced messaging systems and patterns (e.g., RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ). CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools. Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban). DevOps Practices: Understanding of DevOps culture and best practices. Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc. Experience: Required Experience: 9+ years of professional experience in server-side software development. Proven experience in a leadership role (e.g., Tech Lead, Engineering Manager). Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems in production. Desired Experience: Hands-on experience with high-performance systems in cloud environments. Experience with large-scale, distributed systems and microservices. Exposure to cross-functional teams and leading project delivery. Experience with complex systems involving event-driven architecture and message queues. Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred: Masters degree or relevant certifications in Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies, or related domains.
