Job Description
- Roles & Responsibilities: Test Planning & Requirement Analysis Understand business and functional requirements of the CRM system. Create a detailed Test Plan and Test Strategy based on project scope. Identify and document test scenarios and test cases covering functional and non-functional aspects. Functional & Non-Functional Testing Perform functional testing to ensure CRM features like lead management, sales tracking, and customer interactions work as expected. Conduct non-functional testing (performance, security, usability, compatibility, etc.). Validate data integrity by verifying database interactions and workflows. Test Execution & Defect Management Execute manual and automated tests on different CRM modules (e.g., customer profiles, dashboards, reports). Report, track, and validate bugs using defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. Perform Regression Testing to ensure fixes dont impact existing functionality. Automation Testing (if applicable) Develop and execute test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress. Automate repetitive test cases to improve efficiency and test coverage. Performance & Security Testing Ensure CRM software can handle large customer databases and concurrent users. Identify vulnerabilities to protect customer data and prevent security breaches. Integration & API Testing Test REST/SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter. Documentation & Reporting Prepare test reports, defect logs, and dashboards to track testing progress. Maintain test case repositories for future reference. Manual Testing (Test case creation, execution, defect tracking) Automation Testing (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.) CRM Domain Knowledge (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) API Testing (Postman, REST Assured) Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) SQL & Database Testing Agile & Scrum Methodologies.
